About Our Practice
Triangle Eye Consultants is a state of the art practice within the Raleigh-Durham area. We specialize is Cataract and Refractive Surgery and corneal disease. We also have a particular focus on management of dry eye disease. Dr. Preeya Gupta has been in practice for 14 years and has a strong reputation in the community and nationally within Ophthalmology. We are a boutique practice focused on delivering high quality subspecialty care. Triangle Eye Consultants has advanced technology and stays on the cutting edge of eye care. We are seeking a like minded optometrist to be an integral part of our practice. We are looking for someone who is motivated, willing to learn new things, patient care focused, and caring. The practice setting is largely medical based. We do not fit contact lenses or take vision insurance plans so the daily patient load will be patients seeking comprehensive exams (annual, diabetic exams), post-operative patients, dry eye exams, etc. Willing to give consideration to a candidate that would like to start seeing glaucoma patients or potentially incorporate scleral lens fitting into their practice. If interested training for dry eye procedures will be provided to complement your skillset.
Optometrist Job Duties & Responsibilities
We are searching for a talented optometrist to join our growing practice! You'll use your clinical and interpersonal skills to provide high-quality care to our patients. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering quality patient care, and is eager to learn and develop their clinical skillset. Your regular duties will include:
Perform comprehensive eye exams
Diagnose and assist in the treatment of ocular disease
Provide pre- and post-operative care to surgical patients
Perform dry eye treatments, if interested
Maintain detailed patient records regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and progress
Handle eyecare emergencies
Optometrist Job Requirements & Qualifications
Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree
Valid state license to practice optometry in North Carolina
Ability to communicate with a wide range of patient personalities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A strong sense of workplace professionalism and personal ethics
Customer-service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills
