Job Description:
Produces quality images by selecting the appropriate technical factors, equipment and transducer settings. Verifies patient orders and reviews appropriateness for exam, obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns. Determines if images are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes while using independent judgment during the sonographic exam. Responsible for the independent operation of sonographic equipment, performing and communicating findings of diagnostic examinations. Maintains a clean work environment and adequate supplies. Responsible for appropriate sterilization techniques and documentation accuracy of logs, charts, forms, and records. Complies with all The Joint Commission, federal, state, and local regulatory laws, standards, and protocols.

Education/Licenses Needed:
ARDMS registration BLS (AHA) certification State license 2 years of experience General Ultrasound and Breast Proficiency amp Vascular certification
