Your Daily Responsibilities Perform thorough patient assessments, encompassing physical exams and comprehensive medical history reviews Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting medical imaging and lab results Work collaboratively with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans Provide critical intraoperative support, which includes preparing operating rooms and managing patient positioning, alongside precisely passing instruments Ensure outstanding pre- and post-operative care through medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and educating patients about their recovery Required Education
Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program Clinical rotations with a focus on surgery are strongly preferred Necessary Certifications
PA-C certification that is current and unrestricted BLS and ACLS certification mandatory Possession of state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant Essential Skills and Attributes
