Location: Green Bay, WI Facility Type: Acute Care | Level II Trauma Center Unit: Level III NICU Contract Length: 13 weeks Hours per Week: 36 hours Shift: Nights, 3x12s – 19:00 to 07:30 Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (EOW) On-call: None Start Date: TBD Time Off: Up to 7 days (must be pre-approved)

Patient Ratios: 1:1 to 1:3 (Days & Nights)

Micropreemies
Respiratory distress
Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS)
Infections
No major surgeries
Acuity: Level III NICU
Support Staff:
CNA: 1 per 18 patients
Neonatologist & NP: 24/7 coverage
Phlebotomy available
Charge Nurse takes an assignment
Duties & Expectations
Bedside Shift Reporting (BSSR) required
Hourly rounding and AIDET communication model mandatory
Charting: EPIC
Equipment Used:
Alaris pumps
Pyxis med station
Credentials Required
Required:
BLS (AHA)
NRP
MI RN license (Michigan)
2+ years recent NICU RN experience
Preferred:
STABLE
PALS
Skills & Experience
Experience in Level III NICU
Oxygen therapy
Nitric oxide
CPAP
Chest tube care
Intubated/vented neonates
Micropreemie care
Floating Expectations
Required Float Areas:
MS/Tele
IMC
Possible ED float (support roles only)
First to float to: Inpatient units
