Emergency Medicine - Oregon Coast
Hospital-employed opportunity for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to join a dedicated team of six emergency-trained physicians in a full-service emergency department Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine with proficiency in emergency procedures and certifications in ATLS, ACLS, BLS, PALS, and CPR Full-time position with 12-hour shifts (mix of days and nights), evenly distributed across the team Daily patient volume averages 30-40 during daytime hours, supported by two physician shifts and one APC shift per day Competitive salary with financial incentives including starting bonus and relocation assistance Comprehensive benefits package including paid malpractice with tail coverage, CME allowance, professional dues, medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, and 401(k) with match Clinical responsibilities include evaluation and management of non-emergent and emergent cases in a fast-paced environment; procedures include suturing, central line placement, intubation, and other bedside interventions Epic EMR system Approximately 95 miles (2-2.5 hours) from Portland and 75 miles (1.5-2 hours) from Eugene, with convenient access to nearby airports for domestic and international travel
