Provide
direct speech and language therapy services
to clients in a school or clinic setting, under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). Support
clients with developmental disabilities
using evidence-based practices tailored to educational and/or clinical environments. Implement
individualized treatment plans
and therapy activities developed by the supervising SLP. Track and document
client performance
during sessions, reporting progress and concerns to the supervising SLP. Prepare
engaging, age-appropriate therapy materials
and maintain an organized therapy space within the school and/or clinic environment. Collaborate
with teachers, school staff, and families
to support carryover of speech and language goals into the classroom. Adjust therapy approaches
as needed, in collaboration with the SLP, to meet individual student needs and educational goals. Communicate
effectively and compassionately
with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to support therapy outcomes Adhere
to ethical guidelines, state licensure regulations, and school protocols relevant to SLPA practice.
The pay range for this role is:
35 - 45 USD per hour (Bakersfield Office)
