Galaxy Brain and Therapy Center is searching for a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team in a part-time role with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position.
We're looking for a therapist who: Lives in or near the Ann Arbor, Jackson, or Brighton areas Is excited about hybrid work: clinic-based therapy in Ann Arbor with adults and pediatric clients, and community-based sessions within a 20-30 mile radius of the client or your home Has experience with reflex integration ( preferred ) or is enthusiastic and willing to learn ( required ) Values trauma-informed care and neurodivergent-affirming approaches Wants to work in a place where kindness, quality, and heart are front and center Is eager to learn and expand therapeutic skills Common Diagnoses We Support:
Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) / Concussion (including post-concussion syndrome) Stroke / CVA Parkinson's Disease and other neurodegenerative conditions ADHD and Executive Dysfunction Sensory Processing Disorder Anxiety / Depression with cognitive symptoms Chronic Pain / Fatigue Syndromes (e.g., long COVID, fibromyalgia) Vestibular dysfunction PTSD and trauma-related cognitive impacts Functional neurological disorders (FND) Therapy Styles and Approaches We Use:
Executive Functioning Coaching & Cognitive Retraining Time management, memory, organization, initiation, and problem-solving strategies Reflex Integration Supporting nervous system regulation and motor development through retained primitive reflex work Whole Brain Exercises / Bilateral Integration Activities designed to improve interhemispheric communication and cognitive flexibility Brain Injury Education & Compensatory Strategy Training Empowering clients with knowledge and tools to manage symptoms in daily life Stroke Rehabilitation Neuroplasticity-based upper extremity recovery, visual-perceptual retraining, ADL/IADL training Mind-Body Integration Sensory regulation strategies, breath work, and mindfulness practices to support emotional and physical recovery Home & Life Skills Training Including energy conservation, return-to-work/school prep, home safety, and habit-building Task-Specific Training Real-world, goal-directed tasks to promote functional independence4 Community Reintegration & Advocacy Support Helping clients re-engage in meaningful roles and environments with confidence Why Galaxy? Pay Range for Part-Time or Full-Time Therapists:
$33/hour - for those newer to the field $42/hour - for mid-level experience $45/hour - for those with extensive experience Drive time and mileage are reimbursed.
