Description Conduct thorough evaluations for patients within either inpatient or outpatient settings and create tailored treatment strategies Administer physical therapy techniques aimed at improving mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence Collaborate effectively with nursing staff, medical providers, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation professionals to maximize patient outcomes Guide patients and their families through therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and exercise regimens for home care Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards Engage in team rounds and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure cohesive and consistent patient care Education
Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or relevant degree from a recognized and accredited institution Certifications
Valid state licensure as a
Physical Therapist Preferred CPR certification Additional specialized certifications (neurological, geriatric) are beneficial but not mandatory Skills
Significant experience in a similar role is greatly desired Proven capability to treat complex medical and mobility challenges Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork capabilities Proficient in digital record-keeping and clinical documentation systems Benefits
