Key Responsibilities Perform thorough patient assessments, which include comprehensive physical exams and an in-depth review of medical histories Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through the interpretation of laboratory results and imaging studies Work collaboratively with surgeons to design and implement tailored surgical treatment plans Provide intraoperative assistance, including preparing surgical rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments during operations Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education Qualifications
Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program Surgical clinical rotation experience is highly favored Certifications Required
Active and unrestricted
PA-C
certification BLS
and
ACLS
certifications are required State licensure or eligibility as a Physician Assistant Essential Skills
