$17.50 - $25.50 Department Details As a Medical Assistant in our Internal Medicine team, you will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care for adults, focusing on the prevention, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic conditions. This position is vital in supporting providers while ensuring a positive patient experience. Daily responsibilities include: Rooming patients and recording vital signs. Documenting medical history and assisting with exams and procedures. Administering injections and collecting lab draws. Work from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a generous sign-on bonus of $5,000. Experience credit will be applied to the wage range, providing an excellent opportunity for work-life balance and advancement. Job Summary We are seeking a caring and empathetic Medical Assistant (MA/CMA) to assist with patient care in an ambulatory setting. You will advocate for patient needs, collaborate with the care team, and create strong relationships with patients and coworkers. Responsibilities include: Collecting health status data from patients and communicating with healthcare providers. Following through on patient care plans under provider direction. Communicating provider instructions to patients and caregivers. Participating in patient care across the lifespan in preventative care, treatment, and follow-up. Obtaining vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, observing, and reporting symptoms. Qualifications Must be a graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program. Prior healthcare experience is preferred. Certification as a Medical Assistant (MA) through a nationally approved certification program. North Dakota registration as an MAIII is required; applicants without it must obtain it within four months of hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within six months of employment.
