The support clinical education programs through various administrative processes.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Individuals must possess these knowledge, skills and abilities or be able to explain and demonstrate that the individual can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities. The ability to effectively, professionally and tactfully interact and communicate with students, clinical preceptors, patients, and college members as necessary The ability to maintain patient, staff and faculty confidentiality and professionalism at all times The ability to manage projects and assignments in an efficient and effective manner Knowledge of Microsoft Office software such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint The ability to effectively gather information from a variety of sources, compile and analyze information Required Qualifications
Education: Student enrolled in the College of Optometry in good academic standing Student must meet Federal Work Study (FWS) qualifications, which are:
Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident Must have a completed current FAFSA Must have remaining financial aid unmet need Must be in good academic standing at Western University of Health Sciences
Preferred Qualifications
Work experience in a related position preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred Essential Job Duties
Key Responsibilities
Clerical duties within the different services in the Eye Care Institute Monitor supplies in the different services and replenish as needed

Schedule/confirm patient appointments in the Eye Care Institute
Key Responsibilities
Scan documents into the Electronic Health Record System
