Job Summary: The Chronic Registered Nurse is accountable for delivering and coordinating clinically competent care for patients with End Stage Kidney Disease (ESKD). This role includes assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care, along with delegating tasks to direct patient care staff. As an integral part of the dialysis health care team, the RN supports treatment delivery, patient education, staff development, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance outcomes and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform essential nursing functions under supervision and in coordination with educators and preceptors. Conduct systematic pre-, during-, and post-treatment patient assessments and document accordingly. Educate patients and families about ongoing care needs and dialysis treatment. Oversee daily dialysis treatment delivery with support from care team. Administer medications per protocol and document justification and effectiveness. Respond to emergencies and assist in crisis situations. Train new staff and serve as a knowledge resource for the team. Ensure accurate lab specimen collection, handling, and reporting. Update and manage individualized care plans in collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Team. Educate patients about transplant options and treatment alternatives. Perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisor. Required Experience:

Minimum 1 year of nephrology nursing experience within the last 2 years. Chronic hemodialysis experience is required. Nice-to-Have Experience:

Prior experience in training and mentoring nursing staff. Experience working in quality improvement or performance metrics roles. Required Skills:
