Acuity Level: Level III NICU

Patient Ratio: 1:1–3 (Days & Nights)

✅ Requirements

Experience: 1–2 years in Level III NICU

First-Time Travelers: Upon review

Certs Required:

BLS

NRP

STABLE (preferred)

Skills Needed:

O2 Therapy

Nitric oxide

CPAP

Chest tubes

Micropreemie care

Intubated/Vented neonates

‍ Unit Support

CNA: 1 per 18 patients

Phlebotomy: Available for lab draws

Charge Nurse: Has patient assignment

Tele Monitoring: At bedside and nurses station (no tele tech)

Neonatologist & NP: On-site 24/7

Systems & Equipment

Charting: EPIC

Infusion Pumps: Alaris

Med Dispensing: Pyxis

Scheduling & Orientation

Orientation:

General hospital orientation

1 unit shift

Schedule:

Weekends: Every other

Call: None
