As a Certified Psychological Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a Neuropsychologist to administer and score psychological and neuropsychological tests, perform behavioral observations, and document findings to assist in interpreting test results. Additionally, you will play an essential role in supporting research projects by collecting and analyzing data. Your responsibilities will include: Administering and scoring psychological and neuropsychological tests. Maintaining comprehensive documentation related to patient testing and coordinating testing procedures. Assisting with additional duties as assigned to support the team and functions of our organization. Education Requirements: Master's Degree in Psychology Work Experience Requirements: 1-3 years in neuropsychological and psychological assessment, with a focus on pediatric neuropsychological assessment. Licenses and Certifications Required: Certified Psychological Assistant by the Tennessee Board of Examiners of Psychology. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong ability to interact compassionately with peers, medical staff, patients, families, and caregivers. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities. Experience understanding and responding sensitively to cultural and demographic differences. No supervisory responsibilities are assigned to this position. Physical demands include climbing, standing, reaching, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and 25 lbs. frequently. You will also need good visual acuity for tasks such as data analysis and patient assessments. Regular interaction with patients may involve exposure to bodily fluids and hazardous materials, requiring the ability to react promptly to emergency situations.
