Implement Evidence-Based Therapies: Utilizing the best practices to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily activities. Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work closely with fellow therapists, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure every aspect of care is comprehensive and coordinated. Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance to patients and their families on effective therapy techniques to support ongoing improvement at home. Document Progress: Carefully monitor patients' development and adjust treatment protocols as necessary to keep them on track. Qualifications
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Ongoing education or advanced certifications are encouraged and supported. Licensure
Possess an active
Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
license. NBCOT
(National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required. Desired Skills
