Licensed Vocational Nurse - RESPONSIBILITIES (listed are included but not limited to)

The LVN provides skilled nursing care to patients in Specialty and Primary Care Clinics Administer medications via oral, topical, subcutaneous, intramuscular, and intravenous routes per facility policies. Monitor and document patients' responses to medications and report changes to the supervising RN or physician. The LVN assists in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Support physicians and registered nurses in developing and implementing patient care plans. Be available for assignments in acute care, medical/surgical units, outpatient clinics, and lab settings. The LVN responds effectively to changing patient care needs and emergency situations.

Licensed Vocational Nurse

- REQUIREMENTS

Education: Graduate of a state-approved school of practical/vocational nursing. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a medical/surgical or acute care setting. Certifications: Must have a current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Basic Life Support (BLS) certification accredited by the American Heart Association. Licensure: Must hold a current unrestricted LVN license from any U.S. state.
