Description
We are seeking a friendly Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting the dental team in various procedures. This position requires a dental assisting permit.
Responsibilities Assist dentists during examinations and procedures. Prepare and maintain the dental operatory, ensuring all instruments are sterilized and ready for use. Utilize Eaglesoft EMR system for patient records management. Provide chairside assistance during various dental procedures including general dentistry, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information. Experience Candidates should possess:
Familiarity with dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and aseptic techniques is essential. Knowledge of infection control practices to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. X-ray permit, NO2 certification, and CP are preferred but not required.
