ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our primary care team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and be committed to providing high-quality support in a fast-paced healthcare environment. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and the delivery of excellent patient care.
FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION: Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards. Performs certain lab tests. Takes and records patients vital signs, immunization status, and brief history. Maintains patient confidentiality. Cleans and autoclaves procedural equipment and instruments. Observes records and reports to physician patient's condition and reaction to drugs and treatments, according to the nursing process. Oversees appointment scheduling, assures priority is given to patients in emergency situations. SKILLS REQUIRED FOR SUCCESS:
We will accept Certified MA or non-certified MA. Medical Assistant Training is a plus. One year of professional experience preferred, preferably in an office setting. Lab experience Preferred HOW WE SUPPORT YOU:
