Advanced Practice Provider, Primary Care - Gastroenterology Practice A leading gastroenterological practice is currently looking for an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to be a part of an established, highly successful and progressive group, providing advanced, high quality healthcare. The Advanced Practice Provider will provide evaluations - consultations, diagnosis, care, and treatment and/or referral of patients in an outpatient practice setting. Order testing/ labs and providing results, prescribing necessary medications. Work closely with the practice's GI physician and may have some Internal Medicine patients. Provider should be comfortable treating conditions including Crohns Disease, ulcerative colitis, hemorrhoids, abdominal pain, acid reflux, Barretts Esophagus, Celiac Disease, colon cancer screenings, diarrhea, constipation, fatty liver, diverticulitis, gallstones, gluten intolerance, and more. Some travel to surrounding PCP offices to evaluate patients required. Full-time office position, Monday-Friday. No on-call or weekends required. Major interests must be in general GI, Family Practice, Primary Care, Internal medicine, Gastroenterology or Endocrinology.
