Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced physician to work locum Pathology shifts in Weston, WV. Starting in November 2025, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.
The Pathology Role:
locum role Dates - 11/1/2025- ongoing Locations-Weston, WV Shifts- Mon- Fri, 8:00 - 17:00- plus call back Procedures- comfortable with occasional frozen section, cytology: urines, Bronch washes and brushes, pleural and ascitic fluids. Thyroid FNAs go to LabCorp Mostly adult; rare pediatric peripheral smear reviews, otherwise, for peds specimens are tonsils and appendix. EMR- Cerner/Paragon • Average cases- GI, GYN, breast biopsy and rare excisions, occasional skin cancer (melanomas are sent out), Detzel's
Requirements of Pathology role:
WV state license; active, unrestricted Board certified or Board Eligible Certifications- BLS, ACLS 1-2 years of NP primary care experience Benefits :
