Audiologist Essential Duties
Hearing screenings - pure tone screening, tympanometry if needed, and otoacoustic emissions (OAE) screening as appropriate
Diagnostic Audiologic Evaluations
Auditory Processing Evaluations
Functional Listening Evaluation (FLE)
Distribute Classroom Auditory Distribution Systems (CADS) and/or personal remote microphone
Instruct teacher/staff on how to use equipment and provide accommodations through inservice, in-person meeting or email
Attend Evaluation Team, IEP, or 504 meetings for students with hearing loss or auditory processing disorders
Communicate with IESDB and local audiology providers to ensure optimal care for our students
Minimum Requirements Masters or Doctoral degree in audiology Idaho pupil services certification in audiology Licensure from the Idaho Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses
