The Assistant Care Manager plays a key role in providing the highest quality of patient care while the patient is in at Union Health.

The Emergency Department at Union Hospital provides emergency care for patients of all ages, treating various common illnesses and injuries, and performing immediate treatment and lifesaving procedures in all types of emergency situations. The department also serves as the initial access point for their Certified Primary Stroke Center, Accredited Chest Pain center with PCI, and Verified Level III Trauma Center. Assistant Care Manager Details

Essential Job Duties:

Monitor and ensure the quality of dialysis treatments and patient care

Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain high standards of care and safety

Oversee the daily operations of dialysis unit, including equipment maintenance and inventory management

Oversees staff scheduling, ensuring adequate coverage for shifts and managing staff shortages

Provides guidance for the staff in meeting the physical and emotional needs of patients and families

Assists with orientation of new staff

Performs job duties as described in RN job description

Qualifications/License/Certification:

Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program

Must have active IN RN license

Must have active BLS certification

ACLS/PALS/TNCC/NIH certification obtained during orientation

Previous RN experience preferred
