Reports To and Evaluated by Counseling Services & Office of Student Accommodations
Required Qualifications
Applicant must be a current Morton College student carrying 6 credits hours in the Fall and Spring. One credit in the Summer. Must qualify for FWS. Good academic standing with a minimum GPA of 2.0.
Must be able to demonstrate the Morton College core values of compassion, equity, accountability, innovation, and excellence.
Proficient in social media content creation and platform management. Strong Interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality. Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively. Experienced in using Canva, Adobe Express, or similar design tools. Preferred Qualifications

Job Summary
The Student Aide will provide administrative, outreach, and customer service support to both Counseling Services and Student Accommodations. This position is ideal for a dependable, tech-savvy student who values confidentiality, enjoys connecting with others, and has strong social media skills to help promote departmental resources and events.
Specific Job Duties
General Responsibilities (to include, but not limited to):
Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with college policies and applicable laws (e.g., FERPA, ADA) Create and schedule engaging content for departmental social media platforms to promote events, services, and student resources Monitor social media engagement and respond to comments/messages as directed Help prepare and organize materials for workshops, events, and departmental projects. Create surveys and track attendance at departmental events Perform other clerical or support duties as assigned
Occasional setup for events hosted by the College.
Salary Range $15/Hour
