The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of one year of experience in radiologic technology and is comfortable in both acute care and outpatient settings. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment and performing radiographic exams for a diverse patient population. Key Responsibilities: - Perform diagnostic imaging procedures on various body parts including abdomen, pelvis, chest, and head, utilizing advanced imaging equipment such as GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba.- Prepare and administer contrast media as necessary for imaging studies.- Maintain patient safety while adhering to established protocols and isolation precautions.- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.- Document and maintain accurate patient records and imaging reports.- Provide care across multiple age groups, including neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.- Start peripheral IVs as required for imaging procedures.- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance professional skills. Qualifications: - Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a radiologic technologist role.- Proficiency with healthcare charting systems; experience in community hospital settings is a plus.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.- Willingness to float between departments when necessary. Work Environment: - Adult acute care and outpatient settings.- Daily census includes a diverse demographic ranging from adolescents to older adults.
