Responsibilities
•Supervise and mentor lower level attorneys in proper conflict resolution techniques •Attend court hearings on behalf of clients and argue motions •Prepare legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, notices, and discovery requests/responses •Maintain knowledge of local, state, and federal statutes and applicable laws •Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions
Qualifications
•Excellent time management and interpersonal skills are required, as well as persuasive writing and verbal communication skills •Previous experience advocating for clients in trials, mediation, and arbitration •Member of state and local bar associations in good standing •Work independently while handling a heavy caseload •Completion of a 4-year bachelor's degree, as well as 3-year law degree from an accredited law school
