About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Transportation Specialist to support vendors and sellers utilizing freight distribution services. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy solving complex problems, and are passionate about delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, ensuring timely and efficient freight pickups. Investigate and resolve missed pickups using internal tools, data analysis, and cross-functional communication. Analyze daily reports to identify service gaps and implement solutions. Manage a growing portfolio of vendorsstarting with 50 and expanding to 175 within 8 weeks. Communicate primarily through written channels to coordinate with stakeholders and vendors. Collaborate with internal teams to reroute hauls and manage inbound transportation logistics.
What Youll Work On
Managing scheduled pickups and rerouting freight hauls (18-wheelers). Analyzing data to identify trends and resolve issues. Building strong vendor relationships and ensuring service excellence. Using Excel and internal systems to track and report on vendor performance.
Qualifications
Required:
Experience in vendor relations or account management within transportation/logistics. Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written communication skills.
Preferred
Bachelors degree (not required). Demonstrated ability to think critically and work independently. Proven track record of job stability and career progression.

i Daily Workflow
Morning team meetings to review plans and recap previous days performance. Vendor assignment and activity tracking via Excel. Outreach to vendors to identify and resolve shipment issues. Continuous problem-solving and data analysis to ensure freight is picked up on time.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
