Financial Controller

They ensure the integrity of financial data, provide strategic insights, and support organizational goals through effective financial oversight. Key Responsibilities : Financial Reporting : Prepare accurate and timely financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) in accordance with GAAP/IFRS. Budgeting and Forecasting : Develop, monitor, and analyze budgets and financial forecasts to support strategic planning. Accounting Oversight : Supervise general ledger activities, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and reconciliation processes. Compliance and Risk Management : Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies; manage audits and liaise with external auditors. Internal Controls : Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity. Team Leadership : Manage and mentor the accounting/finance team, fostering a culture of accuracy and accountability. Strategic Support : Provide financial insights to senior management for decision-making, cost optimization, and profitability analysis. Cash Flow Management : Oversee cash flow planning and ensure liquidity for operational needs. Process Improvement : Identify and implement efficiencies in financial systems and processes. Qualifications : Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred. 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with 2+ years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, tax regulations, and financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle). Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
