Technical Support Manager Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support for marine products and systems. This involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues, as well as guiding customers and internal teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and marine technology, focusing on LV and MV Switchboards. The work model for this role is hybrid. #LI-hybrid This role contributes to the Process Automation Marine and Ports Division in Miramar, FL. Main responsibilities include: Supporting basic technical support cases and complex cases involving LV, MV Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, Protection Relays, and Transformers. Identifying technical problems and analyzing them through communication with customers and remote connections. Identifying improvement needs in workflows and potential solutions, communicating proactively, and driving small improvement actions. Executing case wrap-up and follow-up in a timely manner and preparing technical reports after case closure.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. 3+ years of experience, with 5+ preferred. Experience in marine power generation and power distribution, focusing on LV/MV Switchgear, Protection Relays, Transformers. Familiarity with marine/offshore work environment and procedures. Prior experience with ABB Marine equipment is preferred but not required. Proficiency in diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting protection relays is preferred.
