Senior Brand Manager For Frozen Ready-to-Eat Products
The Senior Brand Manager for Frozen Ready-to-Eat (RTE) products is responsible for the strategic development, marketing execution, and overall growth of Perdue's frozen convenience meal solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of the frozen food market, consumer behavior, and the ability to drive innovation and market presence for a significant portion of the RTE portfolio. The salary range for this position is $111,000 - $167,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications with an annual bonus available (variable depending on performance). Principal and Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Lead the strategic development and execution of comprehensive marketing plans for the Perdue Frozen RTE tier, aligning with overall Perdue RTE segment objectives. Define frozen-specific positioning, messaging, and consumer engagement strategies. Conduct in-depth analysis of the frozen food market, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape. Utilize data and insights to identify growth opportunities, inform product improvements, and optimize marketing campaigns for the frozen segment. Collaborate with RandD, Supply Chain, and the Senior Director of Disruptive Innovations on product innovation, renovation, and commercialization within the frozen RTE portfolio, ensuring offerings meet market needs and brand standards. Monitor and analyze the financial performance of the Frozen RTE tier, contributing to PandL management by optimizing pricing, promotional activities in collaboration with the cross-functional team, and cost structures to achieve profitability targets. Work closely with Sales, RandD, Supply Chain, and other internal teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of frozen RTE brand plans. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Frozen RTE tier, including sales, market share, brand awareness, and consumer sentiment. Provide regular reports and actionable recommendations. Proactively develop strategies and selling stories that support go-to-market execution, line-reviews, and assortment planning. Mentor and guide the Brand Marketing Assistant, fostering their growth and ensuring effective execution of frozen RTE brand initiatives. Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Our ideal candidate will have/be: 7+ years of brand management experience within the food or CPG industry, with direct experience in frozen food categories preferred. Proven ability to develop and execute effective marketing plans that drive brand growth. Strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting market data and consumer insights to inform strategy. Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience with PandL drivers and financial analysis. Prior experience managing or mentoring junior team members. Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements: Position is office based with travel to customer sites and offsite corporate events as needed.
