Warehouse Associate II - Inventory
The Warehouse Associate II Inventory is responsible for performing all tasks in the safest way possible. In this role, you will be required to perform various nonstandard activities such as product slotting, bin audits, etc. as directed by your supervisor. This role will be a critical part of the continuous improvement effort in the facility and will be asked to contribute to driving the improvements in safety, customer satisfaction, inventory, and productivity. Follow all safety, company, and 6S standards in the distribution center to ensure a clean and safe working environment to ensure the safety and security of all employees. Operate warehouse equipment, dock safety, and order convenience equipment safely and efficiently to ensure little to no accidents. Responsible for Non-Task Driven Movements. Example: Product Slotting, Consolidation, Material Transfer to Move Infrastructure. Perform 6S Inspections on areas throughout the facility. Physically execute scrap ticket by picking product given and staging for pickup. Perform bin audits based on potential inventory issues. Example: Missing product during pick, mis-shipment sent to customer. Perform miscellaneous activities as directed by your manager to efficiently support the warehouse operation. Deep knowledge of all primary roles in a distribution environment (Pick, Pack, Put away, and Replenishment). Three (3) years' experience in a high-volume warehouse environment required. Excellent math and analytical skills, including decimals. Ability to perform job tasks with high degree of accuracy and minimal error. Ability to perform work for a maximum of nine hours per day. Willingness to embrace the Hubbell Values and Behaviors. Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating in projects as needed. Knowledge of appropriate handling, safety and warehouse standards. These physical requirements are generalities, and work may occasionally exceed the specified levels.
