Position: Project Manager High Speed IO Cables
Location: Nashua, NH
Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high-speed, high-bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products enable the electronics revolution and are key for major Tier 1 OEMs globally. We have design, sales, and manufacturing locations worldwide and are seeking a Project Manager for our Nashua, NH team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer communication, planning, budgeting, and execution management.
Manage and provide technical leadership for complex new product development programs, ensuring delivery aligns with market and customer expectations regarding specifications, timing, and budget.
Manage program scope, objectives, and ensure completion of all steps.
Act as the communication interface with customers regarding program status, schedules, and requirements.
Lead project teams across multiple sites during product development.
Schedule and facilitate internal meetings to address actions and keep projects on track.
Manage internal and external suppliers to ensure timely completion of actions.
Communicate resource needs to management to keep projects on schedule.
Define product specifications and project scope aligned with market and customer needs.
Ensure projects meet financial objectives, including capital requests, costing, and scope management.
Make decisions to accelerate processes and optimize time-to-market, volume, and profitability.
Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles during development.
Perform capacity planning throughout project phases to meet demand.
Provide regular project updates to management.
Set up systems for product ordering and manufacturing.
Manage and mitigate risks, developing alternatives via risk reduction tools to maintain schedules and objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline; industry-specific training preferred.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and procedures.
Strong communication skills for reporting, documentation, and managing customer expectations.
Problem-solving abilities with limited standardization.
Ability to interpret instructions in various formats.
Experience with project management, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Effective global team communication skills.
Ability to operate independently and provide clear program updates.
Root cause analysis skills.
