Overview
CTG is seeking to fill a Data Engineer position for our client in Phoenix, AZ.
Location:
Phoenix, AZ Duration:
Ongoing contract
Duties:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand requirements and provide data solutions.
Work with Oracle Fusion modules—specifically Recruitment or Learn—to extract, transform, and load data into GCP-based systems.
Implement workflows and orchestration using Apache Airflow.
Utilize GCP tools such as BigQuery, GCS, and DataProc to manage and process large datasets.
Write and maintain Python and Spark scripts for data transformation.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems.
Skills:
Strong expertise in
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
including
BigQuery, Airflow, GCS, DataProc
Proficiency in
Python
and
Apache Spark
Advanced
ETL and data transformation
capabilities
Experience working with
Oracle Fusion , specifically
Recruitment or Learn modules
Solid understanding of data architecture, data integration, and workflow automation
Experience:
Proven experience as a Data Engineer working in cloud environments (preferably GCP)
Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Recruitment or Learn
Strong background in building and optimizing large-scale data pipelines
Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams and delivering enterprise data solutions
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
