Position Overview:
Join our team as a Maintenance Mechanic and contribute to a company that values innovation and sustainability! Key Responsibilities: Adhere strictly to all safety policies and wear appropriate PPE at all times. Install plate changeovers and initiate machine startups as needed for production requirements. Conduct routine preventive maintenance checks on all production equipment and machinery to ensure optimal operation. Repair basic mechanical components and replace parts including bearings, filters, wiring, valves, gauges, and switches. Diagnose issues by observing and listening to machinery in operation. Dismantle equipment to access and replace defective components. Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments for performance enhancement. Inspect used parts for dimension changes to ascertain needed replacements. Maintain cleanliness and lubrication of machinery and support equipment. Document and track changeover times and work orders efficiently. Execute all work orders with a focus on improving safety, reducing downtime, minimizing scrap, and enhancing overall plant efficiency. Comply with all safety procedures, including the Lockout/Tagout program and 5S standards, to maintain a safe working environment. Undertake additional duties as required to support the maintenance team. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Ability to interpret procedure manuals, blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents. Proficiency in using precision measuring devices such as amp meters, electric meters, and hydraulic gauges. Basic electrical knowledge is preferred. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good mathematical abilities to handle basic calculations involving decimals and fractions. Professional maturity and personal responsibility in performing all tasks.
