We have an immediate need for a full-time Medical Receptionist. The hourly pay rate is $10-$12 per hour, depending on experience (non-negotiable).Job DescriptionWe are seeking a professional and compassionate Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare facility in Grand Prairie, United States. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive and efficient healthcare experience.Welcome and greet patients in a professional and friendly mannerManage patient scheduling and coordinate appointments using electronic scheduling systemsHandle multi-line phone system and respond to patient inquiriesVerify insurance benefits and maintain accurate patient recordsProcess patient payments and manage daily financial transactionsPerform data entry and maintain electronic medical records with attention to detailCoordinate patient care from initial consultation through dischargeManage administrative tasks including faxing, scanning, and filing documentsEnsure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentialityCollaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth office operationsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum 1 year of medical front office experience preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and medical office softwareStrong understanding of medical terminology and office proceduresExperience with insurance verification and benefits coordinationKnowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy requirementsExcellent customer service and interpersonal communication skillsStrong organizational and time management abilitiesDemonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentExperience with payment processing and basic accounting proceduresProfessional phone etiquette and problem-solving skillsDetail-oriented with strong data entry accuracyAdditional InformationGreen Oaks Physical Therapy values the well-being of our patients and our employees.
