Job Description
Boutique litigation firm specializing in representing plaintiffs' in individual and mass torts, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Paralegal to join their dedicated team. This role requires a self-starter with 3 to 5 years of litigation experience, preferably involving complex cases such as residential fire losses and catastrophic injuries. You'll play a pivotal part in supporting attorneys and clients with compassion, precision, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft and manage discovery, subpoenas, pleadings, and correspondence Assist with trial preparation including exhibits, witness lists, and case organization Coordinate and communicate with clients, experts, and court staff Maintain case files and track deadlines and court dates Investigate facts and gather evidence relevant to fire-related and injury cases Support attorneys during depositions, mediations, and trials Summarize medical records, deposition transcripts, and other key documents Qualifications:
Paralegal certificate or equivalent education/experience 3-5 years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in personal injury Prior experience handling complex cases, especially involving property damage and fire-related claims, is highly desirable Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication abilities Proficiency in legal software and case management tools Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
