Entry Level SQL Developer
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented entry level SQL Developer with 23 years of hands-on experience to join our data team. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL skills, familiarity with relational databases, and an eagerness to grow in data management and analysis. Key Responsibilities
Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions. Support the design and maintenance of relational databases (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL). Assist in the development and maintenance of ETL processes and data pipelines. Collaborate with data analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements. Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across systems. Participate in database performance tuning and indexing. Generate reports and dashboards as needed using SQL and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, SSRS). Document database structures, processes, and queries. Requirements
23 years of experience working with SQL and relational databases. Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures. Familiarity with database tools and platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc. Experience with data integration, ETL tools, or scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) is a plus. Understanding of database normalization and data modeling concepts. Good problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git). Exposure to BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker. Basic understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud).
