PAY RANGE: $111,800.00 - $125,000.00 ANNUALLY
General Description
Consistent with the data driven marketing approach, the Analytics Program Manager Consumer Insights will be responsible for leading and managing the consumer market analysis initiatives. This role will be instrumental in transforming data into actionable insights that drive customer/member-centric strategies across marketing, product, and business development teams.
This role is responsible for managing and execution of consumer/member data acquisition and analysis. It is intended to be a resource for business units across the organization by providing quality campaign reporting, data models and personas.
Tasks, Duties, Functions
Lead Consumer/Member Insights Strategy: Develop and execute a roadmap for consumer insights, aligning with business goals and marketing strategies. Data Analysis & Interpretation: Analyze consumer behavior, market trends, and campaign performance using first-party and third-party data sources. Reporting & Storytelling: Create compelling dashboards, reports, and presentations that translate complex data into clear, actionable narratives. Segmentation & Personas: Define and develop member segmentations and personas that reflect Golden 1s members to influence marketing and business strategies. Member Focus: Understand members wants and needs and their importance in choosing a financial institution and for delivering growth. Research Management: Design, manage, and interpret qualitative and quantitative research studies (e.g., surveys, segmentation, brand tracking). Tool & Vendor Management: Oversee analytics tools and external research vendors to ensure high-quality data and insights delivery. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product, Sales, CX) to embed insights into decision-making processes. Perform other related duties as assigned or requested by Management.
PHYSICAL SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND EXERTION UTILIZED IN THE PERFORMANCE OF THESE TASK:
Experience in market research, and data driven mindset to lead the credit union research initiatives. Must possess sufficient knowledge and expertise of choice modeling, including but not limited to Discrete Choice, Conjoint, MaxDiff and other advanced statistical modeling.
Organizational Contacts & Relationships
INTERNAL: All levels of staff. EXTERNAL: Will partner and maintain positive relationships with external vendors and peers in financial institutions.
Qualifications
EDUCATION: Bachelors or Masters degree in Marketing, Statistics, Business, Data Analytics, or related field EXPERIENCE:8+ years of experience in consumer insights, marketing analytics, or a related field. Experience in development and execution of analytics strategies and objectives. Self-motivated with excellent analytical and relationship skills. Knowledge of research, product development, and predictive modeling. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: Comprehensive knowledge of modern research methodologies. Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, planning, organizational, and project management skills. Experience with survey platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey) and market research methodologies. Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Vision. Knowledge of AI and modern research techniques. Growth mindset, driven by intense curiosity. Ability to build relationships, navigate complicated interpersonal situations. Strong communication and storytelling skills with the ability to influence stakeholders. Experience managing complex projects and operations. Self-starter who can manage with limited supervision and direction as this person can operate and drive results and set priorities independently. Proven ability to effectively organize, prioritize, and handle multiple assignments. Experience in data analysis, data management, and data driven decision making. Experience in adaptation of working style to fit the needs of teams. Familiarity with customer segmentation, journey mapping, and predictive modeling. Experience with CRM and digital analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics). Knowledge of behavioral science or UX research is a plus.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged sitting throughout the workday with occasional mobility required. Corrected vision within the normal range. Hearing within normal range. A device to enhance hearing will be provided if needed. Occasional movements throughout the department daily to interact with staff, accomplish tasks, etc.
