Fire Alarm Technician
to install, service, and maintain commercial fire alarm and low-voltage life safety systems. Why Youll Want This Role: Competitive wages based on experience, skill level, and certifications Enhanced benefits: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with match, paid vacation & holidays Company-provided vehicle and cell phone Ongoing training, support, and professional development Impactful work that saves lives and builds safer communities What Youll Be Doing: Install, service, and repair commercial fire alarm systems and life safety devices Program or reprogram systems using computers and dedicated programming tools Test, inspect, and verify functionality of alarm panels, strobes, horns, sirens, and other devices Ensure compliance with all applicable codes and manufacturer specifications Maintain accurate records and submit required paperwork daily Maintain company vehicle cleanliness and perform routine maintenance Participate in an on-call rotation and occasionally oversee other technicians What Were Looking For: High School Diploma or GED required; degree in Electronics or 13 years of relevant experience preferred Valid drivers license required Must be able to obtain NICET II certification within 2 years of hire Must qualify for required state licenses or certifications related to the security industry Positive, team-oriented individual who takes pride in delivering quality work Ability to follow procedures, work independently, and problem-solve in the field Preferred Experience (Not Required): Notifier, Simplex, EST, or similar fire alarm systems Video Surveillance / CCTV systems Access Control systems Nurse Call systems Ready to take the next step in your fire safety career?
