Founding AI Software Engineer
My client is building mission-ready AI tools for the modern Warfighter powerful, intuitive AI systems already in use across operational Army units. They're now hiring a Founding Frontend-Focused AI Software Engineer to design and deliver user-facing components that make complex AI tech usable by non-technical users in the field. What You'll Do: Own the development of intuitive frontend interfaces using React and JavaScript Integrate LLMs, RAG pipelines, and system orchestration into seamless AI applications Collaborate with ML engineers and military users to ship production-ready full-stack solutions Work in Python, JavaScript, and modern development environments (CI/CD, Docker, Git, etc.) What You'll Need: 3+ years of professional software development experience Strong proficiency in React, Python, and AI/ML integration Experience with LLM frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.), RAG, and vector databases Eligible for Secret or TS/SCI clearance (US Citizenship required) Bonus if you have: Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity standards (NIST, RMF, CMMC) GIS or geospatial analysis skills Experience deploying in air-gapped or disconnected environments Why Join?
