Job Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including thorough physical examinations and meticulous reviews of medical histories Assist in the assessment and diagnosis of surgical conditions through the careful interpretation of imaging studies and laboratory outcomes Work in tandem with surgeons to formulate and implement personalized surgical treatment plans for patients Provide intraoperative assistance, which includes preparing operating rooms, securing patient positioning, and efficiently handing off surgical instruments during procedures Offer exceptional pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and educating patients about their recovery Qualifications
Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program Clinical rotations with a focus on surgical experience are strongly preferred Certifications
Current and unrestricted
PA-C
certification Certification in
BLS
and
ACLS
is required Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant Skills
