Key Responsibilities:
Perform venipunctures and other blood collection techniques with proficiency and care
Ensure proper identification of patients and accuracy in labeling specimens
Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to all safety protocols
Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and alleviate concerns
Document and assist in the management of laboratory information systems related to specimen tracking
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to improve patient experience and specimen quality
Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities

Requirements
Requirements for the Phlebotomist position:
Certification in Phlebotomy or completion of a phlebotomy training program preferred Prior experience in a clinical or laboratory setting is a plus Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to handle difficult situations with sensitivity and professionalism Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills Knowledge of safety and infection control practices Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed Current CPR certification is desirable Benefits Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays) Training & Development
