Events Manager

will manage all aspects of their assigned events from planning through execution. Responsibilities include hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising event staff; overseeing building security and liaising with local public safety officials; coordinating communication among staff and security; and ensuring customer and lessee satisfaction. The Events Manager reports directly to the venue Assistant General Manager and is responsible for planning and executing Acrisure Arena events, including hockey games, concerts, and special events. This role is vital in establishing Acrisure Arena as a premier destination for entertainers and athletes. This position offers an annual salary of $70,000-$80,000 and is bonus eligible. in the desert. Responsibilities Analyze challenges, identify solutions, and implement recommendations to support organizational objectives. Communicate clearly in English, both orally and in writing. Establish and maintain effective relationships with lessees, staff, contractors, patrons, and officials. Work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Provide excellent customer service through teamwork and dedication. Assist in preparing the venue for upcoming events. Help with pre- and post-event financial estimates and settlements. Advise lessees on services from contractors. Recruit, train, and supervise event and security staff; create work schedules and review performance. Coordinate communication during load-in and load-out. Resolve event-related complaints professionally. Maintain equipment for event and security staff. Make hospitality arrangements as needed. Coordinate with municipal officials to ensure safety and smooth operations. Review emergency procedures with staff. Create data sheets and manage payroll for staff. Coordinate service needs with food and beverage providers. Serve as Manager on Duty when scheduled. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in event management within stadiums, arenas, or similar facilities. Bachelor’s degree in facility management, hospitality, business, or related field. Strong communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet applications. Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain one. Knowledge of event operations, crowd control, customer service, and safety regulations. Experience with budget management and familiarity with A/V systems is preferred; AutoCAD experience is a plus but not required.
