Machine Maintenance Manager

SPECIAL TRAINING NEEDED:
Vocational and/or 2 Year (AA or AS) Degree preferred.
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The purpose of the Machine Maintenance Manager is to oversee the machine maintenance department to ensure the performing of highly diversified duties, to install and ensure all machines are well-maintained and operating properly and to help ensure production of quality products.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Working knowledge of hand tools. Ability to use and understand electrical meters. Minimum of 5 years experience maintaining CNC machines. Minimum of 5 years experience in a mechanical environment. Ability to perform mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines. Minimum of 3-5 years supervising employees. DESCRIPTION OF JOB DUTIES

Supervise assigned personnel, maintain records and ensure a safe work environment. Ensure all assigned personnel are meeting their daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance objectives. Provide problem solving and resolution to any and all machine maintenance issues. Initiate/maintain personnel training and evaluation of personnel per HR policies. Order all parts needed for repair and maintenance of CNC machines. Perform control work including cables on CNC hard drives, as well as electrical repairs. Perform machine modifications, such as additions of high-pressure pumps and bar feeders. Installation of all new CNC machines. Perform machine backups. All other duties as assigned.
