Your Role and Responsibilities Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary tests, and designing personalized care plans Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health issues in partnership with physicians or independently based on your credentials Providing education to patients and families on preventive care, overall wellness, and chronic disease management Prescribing medications and therapies aligned with your scope of practice Engaging in ongoing patient follow-up and comprehensive chronic disease management Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated, holistic care Meticulously documenting patient information using electronic medical records (EMR) Required Education
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Certifications Needed
Valid Nurse Practitioner license in California National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain within 90 days) Distinct Skills to Highlight
