Responsibilities Essential Functions: Work shift coverage with general repair skills on all production equipment. Responsible for documenting all assigned reports and maintenance work orders (MWO's) for work performed. Work with other maintenance, process, and production personnel as necessary or directed in problem solving of equipment and production issues. Able to read and interpret, on a basic level, ladder logic, pneumatic, instrumentation, hydraulic, and electrical drawings and manuals. Use of precision measuring, gauging tools, and electrical meters; some but not limited to, DMM, AC/DC current clamp-on, megger. Experience with AC and DC motors, starters, PLC, capacitance & inductive sensors, relays, etc. Installation and removal of electronic components using soldering and hand tools. Work in and around automated equipment. PLC and ladder logic troubleshooting experience (no programming experience necessary). Basic troubleshooting of electronic, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and PLC issues such as but not limited to; HVAC, process chilled water systems, heating, automation, extrusion, etc... Able to identify and understand the functionality of PNP, NPN, NO, NC, AC, DC, shielded and non-shielded. Able to perform routine planned maintenance on equipment. All other assignments, general and specific, as directed by Supervisor. Safety Responsible for working safely and following all plant safety rules and policies. Reports unsafe conditions. Wears proper attire and all required PPE. Qualifications Experience/Skills: Ability to lift up to 60 pounds. Minimum of 4,160 hours as a maintenance electro/mechanical technician in a manufacturing facility or demonstrated equivalent skill. Ability to work safely in and around manufacturing equipment. Ability to maintain effective working relationships with others. Achieve a minimum score of 60 on the most recent hourly performance appraisal.
