Job Summary :
The Inpatient Surgical Unit RN is responsible for providing high-quality care to surgical patients. This role involves critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills. Salary Range :
$30.69 per hour (2 years of experience) $33.71 per hour (5 years of experience) Up to $43.20 per hour (17+ years of experience)
Shift Differentials :
$4.25 for nights $3.00 for weekends
Sign-On Bonus : $20,000

1 year of acute care RN experience (open to LTAC RN experience) Florida RN license or appropriate compact licensure (active FL RN license required within 90 days of hire if holding a compact license) Current BLS certification Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing Nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred Shift : Nights (Rotating Weekends) Unit Beds : 45-bed surgical unit within the med-surg unit
Responsibilities :
Provide comprehensive nursing care to surgical patients Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in patient condition Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes Educate patients and their families about post-operative care and recovery
