Externship Description:
We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic 4th Year Audiology Externs to join our dynamic team for a full-time externship. The extern will gain hands-on experience in a wide range of diagnostic and rehabilitative services for both pediatric and adult populations.
Clinical Experience Opportunities Include: Pediatric & Adult Diagnostic Evaluations Hearing Aid Fittings and Follow-Up (Pediatric and Adult) Cochlear Implants (Evaluation, Mapping, and Rehabilitation) Osseointegrated Devices Vestibular Testing (VNG/ENG) and Treatment (e.g., Epley Maneuvers) Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) Testing What We Offer:
$30,000 annual stipend 8 paid time off (PTO) days Extensive exposure to a variety of clinical populations and audiological specialties Supportive supervision from experienced audiologists Collaborative work environment with ENT physicians and audiology colleagues Requirements
Qualifications:
Enrollment in an accredited Au.D. program Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset Interest in working across multiple disciplines and patient populations
