Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled
Cath Lab Technician
to join our dynamic team in the
Cath Lab and EP Lab . As a critical member of the interventional cardiology team, you will be directly involved in a wide range of life-saving procedures, including
PCI (STEMI) ,
Diagnostic Heart Caths ,
Ablations ,
Pacemaker implants , and more. If you have experience scrubbing interventional cardiology cases and possess RCIS certification or a licensed Radiologic Technologist (RT) credential, we invite you to bring your expertise to our advanced cardiovascular team.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and assist in cardiac catheterization procedures, including
PCI (STEMI) ,
diagnostic heart caths ,
peripheral vascular procedures ,
pacemaker implants , and
interventional radiology procedures . Scrub in for
interventional cardiology cases
in both
Cath Lab
and
EP Lab , ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency. Monitor and document
hemodynamic data
during procedures, providing essential support to physicians. Assist in preparing patients for procedures, ensuring they are comfortable and fully prepped for interventions. Assess and manage the
access site , ensuring proper care and communication with the physician. Follow all
on-call protocols
for the Cath Lab, ensuring readiness and availability for emergencies. Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedural assistance as needed to maintain seamless operations. Required Skills & Qualifications:
Licensed Radiologic Technologist (RT)
or
RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
certification is required. BLS (Basic Life Support)
and
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
certification required. Experience working in a
Cardiac Cath Lab
setting, including experience with
PCI (STEMI) ,
Diagnostic Cardiac Caths , and other
interventional cardiology procedures . Ability to
monitor and calculate hemodynamic data
during procedures. Experience with
IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump)
is preferred. Must be able to
scrub in
and assist during invasive cardiac and vascular procedures. Schedule & On-Call Information:
Days per Week:
3 Shift:
8:00 AM - 8:30 PM On-Call Requirement:
1 weeknight per week (7:30 PM - 7:00 AM) 1 weekend per month (On-Call Only)
On-Call Pay
