What is this role?

As the

Quality Laboratory Supervisor

at Cirkul, you will lead the daily operations of our quality and testing lab. This hands-on role is critical to ensuring product quality through accurate testing, measurement reliability, and compliance with regulatory standards. You'll manage a team of Metrology & testing Lab Technicians while collaborating across Engineering, Operations, and Supplier Quality to drive improvements and uphold testing excellence. What does an average day look like? Driving Results:

Oversee lab operations including product and material testing, incoming and in-process inspections, and metrology programs. Ensure accurate and timely execution of testing protocols and reporting. Taking Ownership:

Maintain calibration records, inspection logs, and equipment maintenance schedules. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in lab workflows and procedures. Making Decisions:

Evaluate test data to support product release and supplier material acceptance. Support root cause investigations and implementation of corrective/preventive actions (CAPAs). Cultivating Relationships:

Partner with Engineering, Operations, and Supplier Quality to ensure alignment on product testing requirements. Support incoming quality inspections and work closely with suppliers on material evaluations. Instilling Trust:

Maintain regulatory and internal compliance within the lab. Ensure lab safety, cleanliness, and organization in line with 6S standards. Customer Focus:

Deliver reliable and actionable testing data that supports high-quality products. Respond quickly to internal testing needs to minimize delays in production or quality release. What background should you have? Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Engineering or Quality (preferred). 3+ years of experience in a quality lab or metrology environment, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role. Develop and modify measurement programs for CMMs and Keyence systems. Set up and operate CMMs to perform dimensional inspections on machined and molded components. Interpret technical drawings, GD&T, and CAD models to define and execute inspection strategies. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, suppliers, and production teams to resolve dimensional discrepancies. Maintain accurate inspection records, dimensional reports, and calibration documentation. Perform first article inspections (FAI), in-process inspections, and final product verifications. Support root cause analysis and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Apply statistical sampling plans and adjust incoming inspection frequencies based on risk and performance data. Proficient in the use of dimensional inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, height gauges). Experienced in managing calibration systems, conducting Gage R&R studies, and utilizing SPC tools and data analysis. Demonstrated attention to detail with strong organizational and communication skills. Oversee two laboratories (metrology and R&D testing) and lead a team of technicians; responsible for lab safety and adherence to 6S standards. What do we offer?
