Position summary We are seeking a skilled

Linux System Administrator

to manage and optimize our cloud solutions. Responsibilities include: Implementing blue-green deployments and zero-downtime release strategies. Managing and version controlling infrastructure configurations using Git and GitHub. Collaborating with development and operations teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines. Participating in code reviews and improving IaC standards. Utilizing DNS routing strategies for zero-downtime deployments and quick rollbacks. Installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Linux servers (e.g., RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu). Monitoring systems, tuning performance, and capacity planning. Implementing security best practices, including firewall configurations and SELinux. Automating tasks with shell scripting (Bash, Python). Managing LVM and file systems. Configuring SMTP services for reliable email delivery. Managing internal DNS infrastructure. Automating cloud resource provisioning and deployment. Monitoring GCP resource utilization and costs. Security & Compliance: Ensuring security standards and policies are met. Maintaining backup and disaster recovery strategies. Participating in security audits and vulnerability assessments. Documentation & Support: Creating technical documentation. Providing support and troubleshooting issues. Participating in on-call rotations. Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as a Linux System Administrator. 5+ years of experience with Terraform on GCP. Proficiency with Git and GitHub. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Preferred Qualifications: Expertise in SMTP configuration and troubleshooting. Knowledge of DNS administration. Experience with Web Proxy solutions like Nginx or Squid. Scripting skills in Bash and Python. Familiarity with monitoring tools such as DataDog or Grafana.
